All of our Lifetime Stainless Steel Railing Systems for stairs require custom manufacturing. This means two things. First, the price per linear ft. is higher because of the custom labor at our factory. Second, each stair railing system requires an accurate drawing in order to get a made to order quote. Unlike other railing systems, Lifetime Stainless Steel Railing Systems cannot be easily cut down or trimmed to fit at the job site. This means that more time and attention is needed at the planning stage, and less time is spent during installation. All drawings with exact specifications will need to be signed-off by the customer/contractor prior to manufacture. In order to get a quote for stairs just fax or email us a dimensional drawing with your phone and we'll get you an exact quote including shipping. For the purposes of general estimating, multiply the listed cost per linear ft. by 1.5 to 2.25 for a "ballpark" estimate, but we'll get you an exact quote before you place your order. Please note that style number ST-4-SSG (glass infill) is not recommended for stairs.
