NOTE: Our rails are 12 ft. ( 144 “) long and the posts are set at 6 ft. on center which means each 12 ft. section has two posts and caps included in price. When installing the rails, we suggest that for the first section only, a 12 ft. rail be cut in two and used as the middle rail on a 3 rail fence or 2nd and 4th rail on 4 rail. Thereafter use all 12 ft. rails This serves to make the installation stronger since the rails all terminate on alternating posts.
