Recieving Your Order

Your order will come directly to you from the factory. Please call for shipping lead times. We ship worldwide and can deliver to any freight forwarder in the Continental U.S. If you don't have a freight forward company, we can help you get one.

Since we get factory direct rates, our freight costs are very reasonable. Most companies will call you before arriving to arrange a day and time for delivery. Please note that it is the customer's responsibility to unload the truck. It is the driver's responsibility to get it to the delivery address and to the back of the truck. The trucking company will call 24 hr before delivery to make sure the customer or their representative will be there to offload. The driver is only responsible to get the order to the end of the truck. It will be the customer's responsibility to remove it. The customer or their representative must be on site at the time of delivery to offload the materials and to check the order for damaged and/or missing items. This only applies to common carrier deliveries, not to UPS and FedEx type of deliveries.

Large shipments may be delivered on pallets and most residential deliveries will need to be offloaded by hand. The pallets can be broken open to be offloaded by hand.

In Case Of Damaged or Missing Goods THIS IS IMPORTANT: Check the material upon arrival and note any damaged or missing parts on the Bill of Lading (BOL).

Call us immediately and we will contact the factory about replacements.

The factory loads the truck with the correct items and then it is the trucking company's responsibility to get it to you in good condition.

Any shortage or damage must be noted on the bill of lading at the time of delivery. If damage is found after the driver has left, please call A Vinyl Fence right away!

Replacement Orders

Replacement orders should be placed promptly with A Vinyl Fence and Deck Company, Inc so installation can proceed as scheduled. Please call us at 1 (800) 213-2539 before returning any item

Returning materials the customer does not want:

Call A Vinyl Fence Co. to get a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. No materials can be returned without a Return Merchandise Authorization - RMA. The factory will not accept the shipment without the RMA. We will get the RMA for you and either call you or email it. The customer usually pays for the return shipping and a 25% restocking fee usually applies to all the materials that are in perfect condition (good enough to be restocked for resale). Credit will be given only for the materials that are OK to resell.

The customer will not be refunded the cost of the original shipping. No credit will be given for materials arriving damaged. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the materials are packaged well enough to arrive at the factory in good shape. In the case of Bufftech, and most of our other manufacturers as well, the manufacturer will send the trucking company or UPS / FedEx to pick up the returning order, not have the customer arrange it.

We encourage our customers to be sure that what they're ordering is what they really want and need and we work with them to be sure the order is right the first time. Returns are NOT cost effective.
